Homemade Chana masala powder is a blend of various Indian spice powders, mainly the Punjabi special spices powders. This Homemade Channa masala powder is used to make chole. I have used homemade garam Masala so, please use the garam masala recipe here.

Ingredients:
- 4 TBSP Coriander Powder
- 3 TBSP Dry ginger powder
- 2 TBSP chili powder(adjust according to your taste)
- 2 Tbsp Garam Masala powder(I used homemade garam masala)
- 1 TBSP Black Salt
- 2 TBSP pomegranate powder
- 2 TBSP turmeric powder
- 1 TBSP Amchur Powder
- 2 TBSP cumin Seeds powder
- 2 TBSP Fenugreek leaves( crush them before adding)
Procedure:
1. Add all the ingredients in a bowl and, mix the spice powders until combined. Transfer the masala powder to an airtight container. For a long shelf life, you can also store in the fridge.
Use up to 1 tbsp of homemade Chole masala powder for 200 grams of chickpeas. However, you could use less or more like you wish.
