Urulai Pattani Masala is a South Indian Traditional side dish recipe. It is a must dish in Tamil Nadu vegetarian virunthu(feast) during auspicious days and in wedding food.
Urulai Pattani Masala is an Indian Style spicy mashed potato with green peas. Some people make Urulai Pattani masala without whole spices and ginger garlic paste, especially the brahmin community. But I like to use spices however it is always a personal preference.
I usually Serve the urulai Pattani masala with curd rice, coconut rice, and rasam sadam. You may also like other potato recipes, please click the link here.
